we have now come to prepare the 13th edition of the SIES Congress of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. Is with great pleasure that I offer a warm greeting to colleagues who dedicate themselves to this exciting discipline which has been able to create a space in the scenery of medical techniques, thanks to scientific contributions of many colleagues of all nationalities.
I wish you an active and direct participation to the various phases of the Congress, to repeat and if possible exceed the success achieved with the previous editions.
With this in mind the Italian and foreign colleagues' experiences about modern techniques and methods for the outpatient treatment of major imperfections of medical and surgical relevancy will be joined and exposed, the news of pharmaceutical technology and this whole "world" will be considered and made available to the medical aesthetic disciplines, from the botulinum toxin to biostimolating products and the management of surgical complications will be clarified.
The days will unravel through reports and interactive round tables, in order to involve participants in a debate that could be constructive for all.
Furthermore, the contribution of science, coupled with technology provided by the most representative companies in the field, allow us to organize several free workshops and, important theoretical and practical courses for the subscribers.
The work will be divided in separate classrooms for the Medical and Aesthetic Surgery, allowing
members to follow with particular attention the aspects of major interest.
Given the success achieved last year, in addition to the "institutional" classrooms we'll organize the free entry Open Rooms, where all news will be proposed for anyone interested to the subject.
I trust that, we can achieve a high level of quality that will satisfy the participants and take them to a constant and fruitful update of their professional accreditation, as happened in the past.
